We started Copygram back in 2011, not to make this uncomfortable long we can try to tell you that there is a short story on medium about how we became a startup. But here we are, it's now 2014 and we've been a real business for almost 2 years, and we want to continue to be a startup.
We do this primarily because we love photography and want to put all the digital photos into the real world, as tangible assets in your life, as interior design, wallet companion or simply laying around in your space. And we want to push the boundaries in what you think photography should feel like, with empashis on quality.
We are a small core team of 2 backend developers and 1 front end designer, we value spaces and our abilty to communicate over method, process and tools. We work with technology such as GitHub, OS X, PHP, Vagrant, MySQL, Symfony, Twig, Codekit and PP.
Design speaks function, and we love to push ourselves forward. User Interfaces, User Experience are what we live for. We love our design to be out of the way of your content, to be minimal, griddy and effortless is part of what we strive for.
We don't have "customers", we have friends, creative equals. You are all welcome, we aim to spread love and happines accross our services, since we are a small team of just 3, we have to mange, support, community development, journal edits, bug fixes and a lot more. But we're here for you.
The network equipment is primarily from Cisco. The SAN consists of Brocade and Qlogic parts and is 100% fibre channel, in favour of iSCSI, to provide high uptime and performance. They strive to build all their services with virtualization due to the flexibility it gives to easily handle faulty hardware and scale when needed.
GleSYS was founded 1999 and today they're providing Internet solutions to customers all over the world. They started with web servers colocated in other facilities but since year 2000 they've built their own data centers in Sweden.
We've been working closely with GleSYS since we started Copygram, and we are super stoked to have them onboard as partners. Support is absolutely brilliant and we hope to be working with them for a long time.
Ever since we started Copygram, we've been really interested in creating content, both digital and analog. We love stickers, we put stickers on everything and everyone. If you've met us at an event, we're sorry, but thats just who we are.
One thing we love to do is to share our adventures with our community, and we do that in a couple of ways, one is on Instagram , another is on Facebook . We also try our best to make videos, you can find them on Vimeo .
