@tinytrappings i read recently that the sounds are from birds that used to inhabit Sydney, but were slowly driven away by the usual trappings of big cities...makes the empty cages even more moving...
Yes- that's what you can hear John, the ghostly sounds of birds long gone from the city. It's a work I keep reconnecting with- as it is so moving x @johnmangila
