The Churchill Arms is a beautiful pub on what must be one of London's must under-appreciated streets, Kensington Church Street. Connecting Ken High Street to Notting Hill Gate it is filled with boutiques, art dealers, antique shops, restaurants and pubs. It's a great walk from the high street up into Notting Hill. I've always wondered about something... If a person can be disgruntled does that mean they can also be gruntled? Hmmmm. I think I'm disgruntled with IG, which must explain why I rarely post. I'll do my best to be more gruntled soon. The next few months are going to be crazy. Am I moving to Ottawa, am I staying in London, when I visit my kids in California how long should I stay there in 120°f heat? Oh, and what will the Stones setlist be like in Montreal next month? All these questions need to be answered but for now I'm just rambling. This photo of the beautiful V&A was taken last week. We spent today in Windsor, home of Windsor Castle, the Queens favourite residence and the location of St. Georges Chapel where her father George VI and her mother are buried. And with today being St. Georges Day it was the ideal place to spend an absolutely perfect day!

Yeah, I'm jumping on The Shard bandwagon. It's hard to resist. I think it's spectacular from up close or across town as far away as Hyde Park.
