Have you tried this? Mist the hair with water and apply the gel generously. Brush gently with a boar bristle brush. TIE down the hair with a silk scarf for 15-20 mins. Tieing down the hair is the secret to slick edges, it even works for my sister and she has 4c hair that always gets fly aways. Hope this helps.

I also couldn't ever seem to get the hang of twistouts...now those two are my favorite styles! Hopefully you'll be able to find a product combo and technique that will work for you ❤❤

Yesterday's hair...and I was ackin cray cray...I loved my wash n'go! Deets: Started with hair divided into 4 sections, already finger detangled. Hair stays in sections throughout the whole process. Washed with Design Essentials Organic Cleanse Deep Cleansing Shampoo (new). Loved it. Conditioned with Design Essentials Express Instant Moisturizing Conditioner...left it in between 5-10 minutes. ❤❤ After rinsing, I applied Design Essentials hydrate leave in conditioner. Loving these prods right now. After applying the leave in to each section, I split the section in half, and added Fantasia IC sparkle lites styling gel to each half.
