@born2knitnpurl i adjust the brake or tension to take then single at "slightly" fast but not add twist is when you notice the "flyer not moving" but the bobbin moves. If flyer not moving the you are not adding twist.

Thanks so much for sharing that info, I will try that on my next spindle project. I found them on etsy and will be purchasing one soon. I also have to find a better bowl the one I am using now is too small. I'll have to see what i have first, if nothing, I found a nice one on etsy for 12 bucks.

@born2knitnpurl i just realized i said it backward. When you notice the "bobbin" not move but the the flyer moves. You are not adding twist.
