You don't want to over clean it either. Soaks twice a day should be fine, along with dabbing it once a day. Tea tree oil is good, I haven't had to use it, but I have heard great things about it.

@me0wdusa_ yeah for sure! So awkward salt soaking cartilage piercings, always an awkward angle haha. I like using cotton balls soaked in hot saline solution... before I used to use a cup and crank my neck haha.

@captainnippers yeah I have small barbells in it now - even that took so much of the pain away. I'm going to work on getting the infection out and then use tea tree oil and vit e to help get down the bump. My bottom one is totally fine, it's only the top piercing that is so bad. 1/4" barbells wouldn't fit through the bump.
