『ιετ'Ș ριᎯϓ Ʋɴƈιε Șτείɴ!』
The young meister sulked as she walked beside beside her beaming father through downtown death city, spirit talking rapidly as he pointed to different shops, nudging her softly. "How about here maka?" He would question eagerly, turning to look at his daughter with hopeful and proud blue eyes, only to be turned down with a blunt "no papa." From maka. "Are you cold maka? Are you hungry maka? Are you tired maka?" And on he would go, pressuring her with questions, trying to keep in pace with maka's slowing one. "No papa, no." She replied irritatedly, crossing her arms and turning away from her eccentric father with a scowl. "I just want to go home..." She mumbled, rolling her large green orbs in annoyance. She lowered her head, her ash blonde bangs framing her face, casting a shadow across her solemn face, a low growl escaping from her lips as her father continued badger her with questions at her, not taking notice of her agitated state. She closed her eyes, shuffling farther and farther away from her father, her eyebrow twitching slightly as he followed her, regaining their close distance. "Hm?" She muttered, a smoky scent tickling her nose. Maka lifted her head to see none other than Professor Stein, sitting on a bench, smoking his cigarettes. A bright smile crossed her lips as she ditched her father and bolted to stein, screeching to a halt, holding her hands behind her back, rocking on her heels. "Hi!" She exclaimed in joy, a faint blush arising to her cheeks. "ιετ'Ș ριᎯϓ Ʋɴƈιε Șτείɴ!" She said after a short pause, reaching out to grasp his large hand with her small one, pulling him up from his sitting position, giggling softly. "I really don't wanna hang out with papa..." She whispered, eyeing her father with an icy cold expression, stein nodding in understanding. "MAKAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" She heard her father say in the background, his jaw dropping open, flailing his arms around wildly at the sight of his precious daughter with /stein/. She sighed at the sight, dragging the professor along in the opposite direction of her father.
