|| Chapter 3 || We fell asleep at the cornucopia. I had a nightmare. I was being stabbed by Cato but it wasnt the stabbing that hurt. It was my broken heart. In the morning Glimmer went to hunt and i stayed at the Cornucopia."Peeta. Is it true you and Katniss are in love." I asked. "Well I am in love with her." He mumbled. I touched his shoulder. "Hey! Dont be scared. I wont hurt you." I said clemching my teeth. Glimmer got back and we all began walking towards the lake. Marvel lept making hilarious jokes so we all laughed. I looked at the lake and saw Katniss. Oh no. She is going to die. She saw us and began getting iut. "WOW! THERE SHE IS!" Cato laughed. We ran sfter her. She climbed uo the tree. "Thats not going to save you Katniss!" Glimmer laughed harder. Glimmer took her bow and arrow and shot one. Katniss dogded it. Cato tried. Katniss still dodged it. "Why dont you try throwing the knife!" Katniss told them. "Guys! Lets wait her out. She is going to have to come down soon enough or she starves to death. We could kill her then." Peeta yelled. || Chapter 2 || "Lets go hunting. Clover your coming with me." Glimmer told me. I got up and walked next to her. She was way taller. I felt like a bug and she could squish me. "How old are you?" She said seeming nicer. "15. I got picked I didnt volunteer." I managed a smile. "Bummer, I dont have a choice I ahve to volunteer. Beleive me, I am terrified. i may look mean but, I am not. I dont want to die." Her voice got scratchy. "Hey, neither do I. Its not like we can do anything." I tried making her feel better. We got back to the Cornucopia and Cato and Marvel were talking. "Yeah, and Clove thinks we are in love." Caro laughed. He probably didnt realize I was there. Glimmer cleared her throat. Cato turned his head and looked at me. "Did you hear that--Glimmer cut him off. "Your a jerk." Glimmer yelled. I wiped a tear away and began feeling sorry for myself. I sat down and began eating and apple we found in a bag. Am I that horrible? That he would trick me? I thought. I heard footsteps and turned around grabbing a knife. The blonde boy from d12 stood behind us. "Dont hurt me! I know where Katniss is." He cried. I put my knife away. "You sure?" Cato asked. "Yes." Peeta shivered. It grew night and we went walking. "Hey! Guys look!" Marvel laughed. Black smoke was going above the trees. I looked down and saw a fire. We ran towards it. A little girl stood there warming herself. I turned my head away as Glimmer stabbed her. I looked at her body. Blood was all over her face and her eyes were open. I began crying hard. We kept walking. I heard Cato and Glimmers convrsation. "Are you sure we shouldnt kill him?" Glimmer smiled. "Yeah! Hes are best shot to find her." Cato smiled back. I looked up and saw Katniss in the tree. I didnt want to kill her so I looked back down. I knew she saw me. I wont tell. || #clovespovd2

|| Chapter 1 || I stand in the tube. This is it. I began shaking terrified. I tried not to cry. I soon was in a open feild with millions of trees surrounding it. All the other tributes stood before me. They all looked scared and nervous. I looked at the time and it said 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1. I am startled by the horn and begin running like everyone else. I ran towards whatever weapon I got first and I turn around to see a guy in front of me. We look at eachother and I swipe my arm, cutting his neck. I look around and see blood everywhere. I threw a knife at a boy who almost killed the D12 girl. I throw a knife at her not thinking at all. Luckily, she dodged it with her bag. I grabbed to get more food. I saw the D1 girl Glimmer stabbing a boy in the chest. Cato grabbed the sword and swiped it on a boys neck. Soon enough, everyone in the cornucopia was either dead, or alive. I sit on the grass breathing heavily as Marvel walks up to me. "Look at this runt Glim, lets kill her." Marvel smirks. Cato turns around. i give him a scared look. He does nothing. "No! Did you see the way she killed that boy? Your such an ass sometimes Marvel." Glimmer laughed. I grabbed a knife out of my jacket just in case. Glimmer walked up to me and grabbed her sword. "Bye, Clover." She said with an evil smile. Before she could stabb me I swiped my knife across he cheek. She yelled. "You bitch!" She said holding her cheek. "Look, I dont want anyone getting hurt. I am armed." I said opening up my jacket to show them 20 different size knives. "Touch me, you die." I threaten. "Okay okay, mess anything up and we kill you." Glimmer said giving me a death stare. I gulped terrified of what they might do to me. Cato looked at me. I gave him a sad face. Why would he not save me? I wondered. || #clovespovd2

Cloves pov- chp. 46 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I look up to see a huge fire. But it's not any ordinary fire, it's a gamemaker made fire. "ITS COMING TOWARDS US!!!" Cato yells. We start running away from it. "WAIT!" I yell. "it's...stopped" I say out of breath. "what do you mean it stopped, it right THERE!!!" frosty yells pointing at it. "I can see that" I say in a duh voice "I mean it is like blocked so it can't come to this side of the arena. Look." I say pointing at how it's staying where it is. "can we walk back to the river I need more water and the lake is more than three hours away." marvel asks. "sure" I say. We start walking to the river and me and Cato walk slower so we can have alone time. Well kinda. If you count us holding hands while walking behind frosty, marvel, & glimmer and being watched by all of Panem. I pick up pace as we get closer to the river. "look! there's firegirl!!!" glimmer screams pointing at the river where firegirl was sitting in the water. Cloves pov- chp. 45 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I wake up to the sound of mockingjays singing a beautiful four note tune. I open my eyes and find Cato looking at me longingly. "what?" I ask him. "you look peaceful when you sleep. Less brutal. Though it's nice to see your beautiful eyes." he says pulling me in for a kiss. We head outside to wakeup everyone else. "up, up, up, it's going to be a big, big, big, day!" I say in a capitol accent. frosty & d3 come out of their tent obviously still really tired. Though, glimmer and marvel come out as completely different people. Marvels arm is around glimmers shoulder and they are both laughing. I've never heard glimmer laugh before, only giggling in a flirty tone. We all stare at them. "what happened last night?" I whisper to glimmer as I pull her towards the lake. "umm...I think that's private between me and marvel." she says winking. "well then that...." I say but then I see a bush move behind glimmer. Then I see a redhead look out from the side of the bush. "what" glimmer asks. I put my finger to my lips and signal her to follow me. She senses what's going on and reaches behind her back to get an arrow. "I left my weapon at camp" she says. I reach to my knife belt. Crap. I fucking left it at the camp. We run back to the camp an grab our weapons. "hunting without us girls?" marvel asks. "d3 stay here and protect the supplies. Loverboy come with us" cato says grabbing his sword. "aww!!! I thought his name was frosty" marvel says jokingly. "shut up marvel!" I yell. We run towards where I saw the redhead. "crap! Shes not here anymore. We took too long" I scream. "it's alright. We'll find her. We can keep looking" glimmer says. We hunt until I realize I haven't had any food yet. "did anyone bring food?" Cato asks reading my mind. "ya." frosty says taking a backpack off his back and handing everyone an apple. We sit down on rocks by a river and eat. Before I know it, I'm finished with my apple. I throw it to the ground. "look!" glimmer yells pointing at something in the distance.

Cloves pov- chp. 44 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I feel weak right now. All the cameras are probably on us broadcasting all over panem. Me and glimmer walk to the tents. "I'm sorry. If I could I would take it all back. Can we start over?" glimmer asks "you shouldn't be the one apologizing. I should. Maybe we should start over though." I say "ok. clove" she says. "good" I smile and walk over to Cato by the tents. "so you fixed everything with glimmer?" Cato asks "ya" I nod still smiling. Frosty comes up from behind a tent and says "all the tents are up. What are the sleeping arrangements?" "district 1 together in a tent" I wink at glimmer and she smiles "frosty and d3 in another..." "wait. Who's frosty?" marvel says laughing. "d12" I say. "...and d2 in the last one" Cato grabs my waist and pulls me to him. "but y frosty" marvel says still laughing. "because he works in a bakery at home and he frosts the cakes." I say in a duh matter. "I didn't know I had a stalker" frosty mutters under his breath. "sooooo clove, since when did you become a stalker?" marvel asks. I swear he's trying to annoy the fuck out of me. "JUST GET IN YOUR FUCKIN TENTS!!!" I yell getting very annoyed with them. "calm yo tits girly" glimmer says smirking. They all get in their tents. I stand gazing into the fire when Cato hugs me from behind and starts kissing my neck. "I love you" he whispers in my ear. I turn around. "I love you, too" I say with an inch between our lips. Just as we are about to kiss I turn away and run to the tent. He laughs as I enter the tent. He comes in and zips it up. He lays down next to me and we snuggle as the temperature of the arena decreases.

Cloves pov- chp. 43 Emotional chapter •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• we hunt for the rest of the night but find nothing. Dawn is rising so Cato says "let's go back to the cornucopia and set up camp there" everyone nods tiredly. We get back to the cornucopia and find district 3 putting supplies in a neat pyramid. "I thought you were reactivating the mines." I say to d3. "I did I hid them underneath the dirt" he says. "well how are we going to get stuff?" marvel asks. "like this" d3 says starting to do a weird hop dance thingy. He gets to the pyramid and asks how many tents we need. "2 people in a tent. There are 6 of us. 1, 2, 3 tents." Cato says. "ok" he says and hops back to us with 3 tents. Cato, marvel, frosty, and d3 work on getting the tents up. Glimmer and I get water. I take a knife just incase. I may need it if she decides to attack me. glimmer and I are at the lake getting water when she says "clove I wanted to talk to you" I instantly get my knife out. "I'm not going to hurt you" she says giggling. "how can I be so sure" I say raising my eyebrow and positioning my knife incase if I have to stab. "fine. Keep it in your hand. But anywho, I wanted to say I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I'm sorry I took Cato from you. I just...I just couldn't help it. I thought you were going to take marvel away from me." woah she likes marvel!!! "I thought marvel was falling head over heels for you and the feeling that someone you love is being taken away from you..." she breaks down and starts crying. I feel bad so I. Cradle her in my arms. "I wwaaannnttteedd yyyou to...to feel the painnnnnn too." she says bawling. Cato and marvel run over to us. "CLOVE!!! what did you do" marvel screams. "I...I...I...took away the one she loved." I whisper towards the lake and start crying too.

Cloves pov- chp. 42 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• we go hunting. Though we don't find any tributes. Sun is almost setting and the temperature is starting to drop. "I'm hungry who grabbed the food" glimmer whines while rubbing her stomach. "I did. It's in my backpack." marvel says. "maybe we should take a break" Cato says sitting down. "ya" glimmer says sitting down and puts her head on Cato's shoulder. "what don't you get about Cato loves me?!?" I yell at her and kick her to the side. "break it up! Break it up!" marvel shouts. "do you really want to kill each other now!!!" marvel says. I kick her one more time when I notice frosty is standing there frozen "what do you want loverboy?" glimmer asks. "wait. 'loverboy'? I thought he was frosty" I say. "not since yesterday's interviews. Didn't you watch?" marvel asks. "no. I was....busy" i look at Cato and he grins. "oh. Well, he confessed his love for firegirl yesterday in his interview" glimmer says. "oh should we kill him then?" I ask holding up my knife eyeing him. "no. He could lead us to firegirl" Cato says. "LOOK!!!" glimmer shouts as she points up at smoke in the sky. We run in the direction of the fire and find a girl about my age "pppplease don't kkill me" she stutters. "aww I wish we cared" I say as Cato slashes his sword through her stomach. "12 down, 11 to go!" Cato hollers. We keep walking searching for more kill. "wait. Shouldn't we have heard a cannon go off by now" marvel says "what are you trying to say...that I'm not good enough with my sword" Cato say defensively. "calm down we just want her dead" glimmer says to Cato. It breaks out into a huge argument that lasts for about 5 minutes until frosty speaks up "were wasting time!!! I'll go finish her off" he says turning around. Were all speechless. "wait you'll need this" I say handing him a knife. "right. Thanks" he says. When he isn't visible glimmer asks. "why don't we just kill him now" "I already told you he can lead us to fire girl" Cato says. I hear a noise coming from the tree but soon forget about it when frosty appears. "you kill her?" marvel asks. And the cannon answers his question. Wow frosty just killed someone.

Cloves pov- chp. 41 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• we only have 60 seconds. I'm blinded by the sun. 50,49,48... as soon as I can see clearly I take in my surroundings. 35,34,33... Woods, a lake, a wheat field, and a cornucopia. 20,19,18... I have frosty to my left and district 9 girl to my right. 11,10,9... I eye the knife belt and get in a running position. 3,2,1! After that all I hear is "let the 74th hunger games begin!!!" and a loud horn. I run as fast as I can to the cornucopia and grab the belt. The next thing I know I'm throwing my knife and the boy from district 9. He's fighting over a backpack with some girl. I can't see her face that well with all the blood district 9 spit on her face. Wait is that..is that katniss?!?! I throw a knife at her but she blocks it with her backpack and runs away. DAMN IT!!! I got so pissed off I threw 3 knifes at once and Killed 3 tributes. Wow cool. When the bloodbath was over I heard 11 cannons go off. "I killed 4" I tell Cato marvel and glimmer. "i got 3 tributes" said Cato wiping his sword clean of blood. "2" said marvel filling his flask with water. "same as marvel" said glimmer getting her arrow out of a dead tribute. So she's not all looks. Interesting. I hear a bush moving at my right so I grab a knife and go investigate. I can sense Cato glimmer and marvel behind me with their weapons. I'm about to throw my knife straight into the bush when I hear a voice. "don't kill me!!! I can help protect your supplies" says a boy starting to come up behind the bush. "OH YEAH!!! HOW?" yells Cato. "I cccan re-trigger the mmmmines bbbecause I'm from district three" he says. "fine. GO!" I yell. He looks relived. "NOW" glimmer screeches. D3 runs to the mines. "were hunting tonight" Cato says

Cloves pov- chp. 40 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I wake up next to Cato. His arms are wrapped around me. Shit! Shit! Shit! We go into the arena today. I try to get up to go take a shower without waking Cato. I wasn't successful. "hey beautiful" Cato says in his sexy *i just woke up* voice as I get up to take a shower. I'm naked. "hey" I say as I run up behind the bathroom door. "you act like I haven't seen you naked" Cato says smirking as he gets up out of bed naked too. "sorry I'm still not used to the idea." I say as he walks into the bathroom and pees. "Eww." I say as I step into the large shower. He steps into the shower with me and kisses me. "you can't go to your room to take a shower" I say "what you don't want me here" he says raising his eyebrows. "and plus it's saving water and the planet one shower at a time." he says smirking. I smile and press the shampoo button. When we get out we find steven our old mentor on my bed. "um...hi. Long time no see" I say "hello clove. Hello Cato. Enobaria has gotten into a mishap so I am your mentor again. I will help get you sponsors. I suppose you should both get dressed." Steven says. Cato and I get dressed. We go to the roof where a helicopter awaits. When we get on they sit me down. The chair straps around my arms and legs. "what the HELL!!!" i scream. A lady comes up to me with a huge needle and says "calm down little girl!!! It straps you so you cant move when i put this tracker in your arm." she puts the needle in my arm. I grit my teeth as the cold metal enters my skin. The helicopter windows go black and we land. They take me to a room with kent and a tube. "hey Kent" I say. "we don't have much time but good luck clove" Kent says as he leads me to the tube. He presses a button and he tube opens. "good luck girl with the knives" Kent says as the tube closes. I'm about to enter the arena. |||I'm drinking a starbucks vanilla latte while eating homemade bacon:)|||

Clove pov- chp. 39 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I get to my room and a flood of emotions come over me. I pace back and forth. I hear a knock "clove can I come in?" I hear Cato say. "sure" I say with a raspy voice. He comes in...shirtless and wet. Man why does he have to be so sexy. "did you just take a shower?" I ask as he closes the door "huh? Oh ya. But I need to talk to you" he says. I look into his eyes that are pleading me to just listen. I nod. "I admit I loved glimmer when I lived in district 1, but that was before you came into my life. I only started going out with glimmer again because I was jealous...jealous that you and marvel were getting closer. If I wasn't so jealous I wouldn't even consider going out with glimmer again after what she did to me. I'm so so sorry I hurt you Clove. I know what I did was unforgivable. Ill understand if you don't love me anymore, but I'll always, always love you." Cato has tears streaming down his face. And I run into his strong arms and cry. "I will never, ever hurt you like that again. Clove I love you and only you." Cato whispers in my ear. I look up at him and say "I love you too Cato". I couldn't resist the urge to kiss him. We only come up when we need to breathe. I jump up and wrap my legs around his waist. I can feel him smiling as my lips brush up against his. We kiss passionately. Until he brings me to my bed and lays me down on it. I feel his six pack brush up against my bare skin. It was the best night of my life. 

Cloves pov- chp. 38 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• soon I'm leaded to a hall next to the stage where the districts stand in order (girl-boy). I stand in between marvel and Cato. "you look beautiful" marvel says in a nerdy looking suit. It suits him. "you look pretty good yourself" I say. "thanks" he says. I see glimmer isnt all over Cato so I guess there fighting. Soon I hear caesar flickerman introducing glimmer. She's wearing a short pink dress. Her angle is obviously sexy. "so glimmer how long have you been training to be a career?" caesar asks "umm...for a very very long time. But I want people to know that if I win I want to end world hunger." glimmer says. What the hell is she talking about. "aww. Well isn't that sweet (buzzer buzzes) give it up for glimmer swan from district one everybody." caesar flickerman says. Glimmer exits on the other side of the stage. Next is marvels turn. Marvel goes up to the stage. He goes up there and acts like his regular self and the buzzer goes off. Crap. I'm next. continued

Cloves pov- chp. 37 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• I fall asleep thinking of how I mighthave to kill Cato soon. Wait maybe I could use that ring he gave me to die so he could win. "up up up Its going to be a big big big day" Fawnity knocks. I get up and take a shower. When I get up I see a pretty blue dress laying on the made bed with some nude heels. I get dressed and head for breakfast. glimmer isn't there. Yay! I go to get breakfast and Cato is staring at me. "what?" I ask "nothing" he says as he looks away. Fawnity walks in with enobaria. "ok today we will practice for the interviews. Enobaria will help you work on your angle and I will help you with manors." Fawnity says. "clove with Fawnity first and Cato with me. We will switch in two hours. Then you will have lunch and you will be handed off to your prep team. Ok let's get started" enobaria says. Fawnity walks me to her room where she makes me walk around for her. I am fairly good in heels because my parents are always throwing parties. "well your a natural in heels so let's work on your posture." I sit down for her and she tells me to sit up straight and smile. So I do. "no! No! No! Your supposed to smooth out your dress on your bottom before sitting down!!!" Fawnity yells "I swear I'm not getting paid enough for this shenanigans" she mutters. Eventually the two hours is up and I walk to enobaria's room. continued

Cloves pov- chp. 36 •~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters)• ...10!!!" cato gets up and cheers for himself. Glimmer gets up and jumps into his arms. "good job baby. If you want i could reward you tonight" glimmer says with a wink. My face comes up and I get a...commercial. why do they always do that. I end up getting a 10 too. I don't really care for any of the other districts but when I hear "katniss everdeen from district 12 scores a...wow this is unbelieveable!!! She scores an 11!!!" I instantly throw my glass of water at the television and scream. "SHE IS MY KILL!!!" and I stomp away towards my room. I don't feel like going into my stuffy room so I go to the roof where I just think. Tomorrow are the interviews. Then its the arena. Wow barely over a day away we will go into the arena where I may be forced to kill the love of my life, Cato.

I started singing along and dancing. I kept singing until I realized I sounded like a dying walrus. Marvel was standing at my door. "hey"He says as I go turn my music off. "hey. what are you doing here? I say. "uh I got bored because glimmer isn't..." he says while his voice gets quieter. "she's not on your guys' level because she's in Cato's room." i say sighing. I start crying. I don't even know why. I'm such a wimp. Marvel holds me. "we should go to the living room to watch the training scores" marvel says. I nod and we go to the living room. When we get there glimmer and Cato are making out on the couch. Fawnity and enobaria are looking at them in disgust. Marvel and I sit down and they all look at us. "marvel and I hung out in my room since his district parter was busy" I say putting air quotes around "busy". Glimmer shrugs and starts kissing Cato again. That bitch. The tv suddenly turns on and the Capitol seal appears. Caesar flickerman and Claudius templesmith start talking about tough competition this year. Then marvels picture comes up on the screen. "marvel black gets a score of 9" caesar says and marvels face lights up. "good job marvel" I say. Then glimmers face comes up on the screen and glimmer stops kissing cato. Though that doesn't stop him. He starts kissing her neck, making his own way down. "glimmer swan with a score of 9" Claudius says. "good job babe" Cato says as his face appears on the screen. "cato larek with a score of..."

We...are done." he starts crying like a baby. I mean seriously man up. "goodbye Cato." I sat as I walk away from the love of my life. "Cato larek" the speaker booms. I look back and stare deep into his eyes filled with sorrow. I love him. But he loves the slut in the Victoria secret thongs. I have to admit glimmer is beautiful. Crane (a guy with THE most awesome beard EVER!!! & head game maker) says "you may start" I nod and I pick out 5 knives a sword a spear and some wood. I walk over to 5 dummies in a row. I stab all of them in the heart with the knives, throw my spear straight through all 5 heads, and cut off all the limbs of all of them. For the grand finally I started a fire and threw all the limbs into it. Mr. Crane said "thank you. You are dismissed"

She's got nothing on but a red lace bra with a matching thong. He's shirtless & in his boxers. they are making out on his bed. They don't even notice me here. It's legend all over again. I try to take in the scene. I feel tears dripping down my face as marvel comes in "glimmers not in her room..." they look up and glimmer attempts to cover herself. She smirks at me "oh hi clove didn't see ya there. How's it going?" she asks. Cato just sits there staring at the ground. Tears are slipping down his face as marvel touches my shoulder and tells me "we should just go". I nod and go back down to the training room. It's time to go preform for the gamemakers. As I sit I think. I trusted Cato and he lies to me. He tells me he loves me and the next day he basically fucks the bitch in front of me. WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!? I see glimmer and Cato walk into the room where the rest of the tributes are waiting to be called to preform. They are hand in hand. "it'll be alright" marvel assures me "marvel black" a loud voice booms. Great. Marvel gets up and leaves now I look like a loner. Glimmer and Cato are making out. "glimmer swan" I voice booms. She gets up. This was probably childish but it made me feel a little better. I coughed "slut". She grins at me and blows Cato a kiss & winks. He grins back in that seductive way as she walks through the doors. Then for some odd reason he comes and sits next to me. Asshole. (sorry for the bad language)

We sit there for a minute thinking until marvel starts to apologizes. "clove I'm sorry. I didn't mean to you know..." "it's fine. Let's just start training" I say cutting him off. At exactly 11:00 o'clock, the same lady who told us not to kill each other tells us to gather around. "today you will only train for half the day. The other half you will present yourselves to the gamemakers so you can get your training scores. You will go by district. D1 first and d12 last. District boy will go first then district girl. Do your best. You are dismissed" she says and I go to the sword station for a change. I get the lightest one there is and throw it like a knife. Wow! I got it in the heart! I do the same with a spear. Cool I guess I'm good with all sharp things. I go to the fire section and start a fire with my knife and a piece of wood. Before I know it, it's lunchtime. I sit down with my food and realize Cato's not here. Come to think of it, I haven't seen him since I left him with glimmer. Glimmer. I haven't seen her either. I look at marvel "where's glimmer and Cato" he asks me. "I have no idea." me and marvel get up. We look everywhere on the training level. No luck. "I'll go check glimmers room and you check Cato's" marvel says. I get to our level and get to Cato's room. I open the door....• Hahahaha cliff hanger post more soon hope u liked•

I realized he sleeps with nothing but boxers on...not that I mind. "I'm going to take a shower" I whisper in his ear and his grip on me immediately loosens. I take a short 10 min. shower and dry off. I wrap myself in a towel and go back into the room to get my clothes. Cato catches me before I can get to the closet "hey beautiful" he says kissing my neck. "Well someones in a good mood today" I say. "well why shouldn't I be?" he stops and looks at me "I don't know...just let me get dressed" I say. He frowns "ooookkkk. Fine. I guess I should get dressed too" he says as he walks to his room. I get dressed in the same clothes as yesterday and go eat breakfast. Cato's somehow already eating. When were done it's about 10 o'clock so We go down to training early. When we get there marvel and glimmer are at the spear section talking. "hey" I say "hi" marvel says while glimmer just stares at Cato. I really don't care about her anymore. She's just a boyfriend stealer so ya. I go with marvel and we sit down on a bench on the other side of the training center. Damn a wall is blocking me of view to watch Cato and glimmer. Oh well. Maybe I should apologize to marvel for yesterday. "I'm sorry for being so sensitive yesterday I just..." i started but marvel cut me off "no it was my fault I should have been more considerate of your feelings. I'm sorry clove." he said with sincere sorrow in his sparkly eyes. Wait. Did I just think what I think I thought? Do I...do I have feelings for...MARVEL?!?!?! "it's ok you didn't mean it purposely. You just wanted to look out for me." I replied. I had just realized our faces were inches apart just as he leaned in to kiss me.

I could hear marvels voice fading away as I ran further away from training. Once I got back to my room I cried. I cried for hours until I heard a knock on my door. "go away marvel" I said into my pillow. "it's me" Cato said. "go away'' I said "look. Marvel told me what he told you. I'm sorry I didn't tell you...can you just open the door so we can talk?" he sounds miserable but I don't give in "I don't want to talk" I say sniffling. "clove just open the door" he sounds like he's about to cry "please" aww he's pleading. I feel bad now. I give up and open the door. Then I go back to sit on my bed "clove. I'm sorry, I don't even love her i love you" he says sitting next to me. "I can't do this anymore. First legend then glimmer. I...I just...I don't know anymore" I say "know what clove?" he asks "if this...us is going to work I mean you could still have feelings for glimmer or....." Cato cuts me off by kissing me "but I love YOU" he says. "prove it. Scream it to the world" I say testing him to see if he would. "I love you" he whispers in my ear. "wait huh?" I say confused. "you are my whole world." he says as I kiss him longingly. I want more of him and I want him forever. Everything seems too perfect to be real and I know somehow that it will end. One way or another.

Glimmer flirting with Cato as if it comes naturally. Though I have learned a few things about other tributes. Firegirl isn't good at any weapon. Also I learned frosty (d12 boy) worked at a bakery frosting cakes. He told firegirl that as he worked at the camouflage station which he is very good at. He is also very strong. Rue ,the little girl from eleven, is very sneaky because Cato was throwing knives and the knife he set down was gone when he went to go pick it up. Cato started yelling at d3 boy for stealing it but I looked up and rue was laying on a net holding his knife. "whatcha dooooin???" marvels voice sang behind me. "just throwing knives at dummies pretending they're glimmer" I say smirking. "why?...you like Cato don't you! You can't stand her flirting with him!!!" marvel whisper yells at me. Crap he doesn't know about me and Cato. Marvel is smirking at me now. What do I say? Damn it marvel. "nooooooo...it bothers me how much she acts like a slut" I say too late for him to believe me. "well I don't want to be the guy to tell you this but someone has to. You don't stand a chance because when Cato lived in d1 they were in love." marvel says gesturing to Cato and glimmer. And my jaw just drops to the floor.

Cloves pov- chp. 28 ~~~~~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters) Credit: @wilsons318~~~~~ soon the other districts are here and some lady comes to talk to us about the rules. All I hear is "blah blah blah no fighting with other tributes blah blah blah you'll have enough time to do that in the arena Blah blah blah". Finally, she leaves. Now its time to scare the hell out of the other districts. This should be fun :). I go to the knife section and pick out the 5 deadliest ones. I go straight for the dummies and throw the knives through all of their hearts to the wall behind them. That is because I am the best knife thrower in district 2 & i NEVER miss. I look up and everyone is starring. Good. I smirk and watch marvel throw 1 spear straight through 5 dummy heads. Wow. Then glimmer gets a bow and arrow and shoots 1 dummy in the heart. The rest she gets near the heart. Not entirely useless. Last is Cato he gets the largest sword which is like 2 times the size of the one he has at home (which I can barely lift) and slices off all the limbs of the dummy. Then he stabs it through the heart, just like a ninja. My ninja :). All the careers look up and everyone looks traumatized. "didn't your parents ever tell you it was rude to stare." I tell the outlying districts smirking. They all go back to their stations. I feel proud to be on top with the careers. But glimmer has to ruin it..."wow Cato your really skilled with that sword. Maybe you can teach me some moves." "if you can pick it up then you've got a deal" he says smirking. I try to ignore it for the rest of the day but, it helps if I pretend the dummies are glimmer and stab them through the heart.

The only people there are district 1. There wearing the same outfit as us except instead of the 2 on the sleeve its a 1. As were walking there I whisper to Cato "remember no couple stuff in public" "ok" Cato says as we approach district 1. Glimmer and marvel are their names. I remember from watching the reapings. "hello" glimmer says in a *hello good looking* type of way. Slut. "hi I'm marvel". "hi I'm clove and this is Cato" I tell them. "hi clove" marvel says blushing. I look at Cato to see if noticed but he seems to preoccupied with glimmer on his arm. She is feeling his muscles! That little (fill in the blank)!!!!! "How long have you been training to be a career because Cato your really strong!!! she asks in a flirty tone. "umm...like since I was like seven" Cato says not even noticing how flirtatious shes being with him. Its legend all over again. except this time I have someone interested too. ;)

Cloves pov- chp. 26 ~~~~~#clovespovd2(link to all of the chapters) Credit: @wilsons318~~~~~ as soon as I hear Fawnitys heels stomping away from Cato's door I go to my room to take a shower I got shampoo in my eyes so i randomly press a button in the soap section and I ended up smelling something like citrus. When I got out of the shower I saw a red and black short sleeved shirt with the number two on the sleeve on my bed with a pair of black sweatpants. Today is the beginning of training. I got dressed and braided my hair down my back. I went to the dinning room to eat breakfast. Cato was already at the table in the same outfit as me. There was a woman was sitting next to Fawnity eating. "clove this is enobaria, your mentor" "ok" i say as I grab a plate and put an assortment of fruits on it. "you have to be in training by 11:00 A.M" Fawnity says "Mkai" I sit down next to Cato, across from enobaria and Fawnity with my fruit. I'm not that hungry today. "that's all your going to eat considering it's your first day of training?" enobaria looks at me as if it were the craziest thing she has ever seen. "uh...yeah. I'm not that hungry and if I'm going to be working my ass off to show the outlying districts whose boss I can't eat any greasy food" I say "ok then" enobaria smirks at me. I hate her already.

I run into fire girl and I scream in her face "YOU BETTER WATCH IT FIRE GIRL BECAUSE AS SOON AS I GET MY HANDS ON YOU IN THE ARENA YOU WILL SUFFER A PAINFUL DEATH!!!" I keep walking to the elevator with Cato beside me. I'm kinda happy he's here because if he wasn't I'd be ripping her head off right now. Cato presses the 2 and the elevator doors close. I immediately slide down the elevator wall and cry. The elevator doors open and Cato picks me up as easily as if I were a feather. He takes me to my room and lays me on my bed. He lays down beside me. Cato strokes my hair as I fall asleep. Just as I'm about to drift off he whispers in my ear "I would never let anyone hurt you. Even if it meant hurting myself."~~~~~next day~~~~~ I wake up in my pjs with Cato sleeping next to me. I turn to my side but I wake Cato "morning" he says in the most sexiest voice EVER!!! I kiss him and say "morning". He smiles. I realize he's only in his boxers and grin. "wait. I don't remember changing in to my pjs" I say raising my eyebrows."I changed them for you....and i also I herd this rumor that your not supposed to sleep with your bra on or else you'll get breast cancer so I took that off for you too" he says grinning widely. I hit his head with a pillow just as Fawnity knocks on the door and says "up up up it's going to be a big big big day!!!!
