Having fun with my green smoothie today- swirling around some blue algae!
Today I made a big container of my current favorite recipe:
-5 bunches of lacinato kale a.k.a dinosaur, Tuscan or black kale. It was cheap this week at the market, feel free to use any dark leafy green.
-1 small pineapple🍍
-2 jalapeños -6 cucumbers
-1 decent chunk of ginger
-6 small lemons 🍋
-1/2 hr of love (secret ingredient)💚 Blue algae is a true superfood in that it increases energy, endurance, immunity, alertness, and mental clarity. Also acts as an adaptogen by responding to stress at the cellular level very well.
One tablespoon a day gives you all this:
B2 - 500%
B6 - 70%
B1 - 170%
B3 - 70%
B12 - 2030%
- although very little B12 is bio available !
