Doggy probiotics are different than ours. You can get some from the vet, sprinkle packet on his food. They love the taste and it helps the tummy gurgles...

What we were recommended by our vet, besides plain boiled chicken and rice, is canned pumpkin. My dog loved it, plus it settled her stomach.
I hope Cleo is giving him extra love π±β€πΊ
Hope Buddy feels better real soon !! @raspberrypie is right on about the boiled chic , rice and pumpkin.. When my old chi would get sick she would get the same thing.. Except sweet potato instead of pumpkin..

I love it when dogs do this. I remember when my quite old Jack Russell started mothering an orange plastic squeaky dog. It was cute but not relaxing!
My dog foes this! He will carry it everywhere for weeks. Then one day it is just time for baby to be in a million pieces! Then he will carry the biggest part that is left.

The first thing LB does when we get home is grabs her favorite toy .. It IS really cute! Why is it so important to you to find out Buddy's breeds? He looks mostly Pit to me ( in his facial structure) but if he's a sweet and good boy , it seems like that's all that should matter. Btw... How is Cleo taking to him?

I "hate " metallic thread :(
@labedaelaine have you ever used thread heaven? It is the ONLY way I will even attempt to use metallic thread.
I wax then iron my threads. It helps but still a pain :(
Tomorrow can't come fast enough! I was just thinking " Jenny should be coming up with something new anytime now!!!" I must be psychic cuz I was right!! I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!! @labedaelaine @pinkcupcake369 are you using Kreinik or DMC metallic floss? Kreinik is the BEST!! Jenny sells some of the colors.. There are different sizes too.. Jenny carries #8 size braid.. #4 is nice too.. Its a bit smaller Kreinik also makes some amazing filaments and ombrΓ©s too.. ThreadWorks also makes some really nice overdyed metallic braids.. I love em!! Thread heaven is pretty amazing stuff.. I use it on regular floss for some projects.. I do not recommend ironing or putting ANY heat to any metallic fibers .. They're usually not actually metal.. They will warp or melt .. Truth is, there is no real way around the pain in the butt that metallic floss can be.. Other than TH helps a little.. But its never stopped me.. I would just start using Kreinik and if you must use DMC metallic floss.. Don't use all 6 strands.. If that's what your doing, that's probably why you're so frustrated with it. Hope this helps :)

@the8thdaycreations it's dmc metallic. I do wax & iron all of my thread before stitching. It helps with the metallics...but...I use small pieces too & 1 strand at a time. I've never had good luck with thread heaven. I will try the Kreinik. I'm just used to my thread stitching like "butter"!
Based on the conversation here I just invested in some metallic threads & ThreadHeaven... and I'm giving up for good. TH has to be the most disgusting product I've ever used!! I followed the instructions to a t, and now my floss looks like it has a bad case of dandruff. Yuck.

I love that you got a dog! My old guy was boxer/pitbull/ridgeback, and was the same color as this guy! He lived a good long 15 yrs! They're such great mixes, with wonderful disposition. Have you named him yet?

Poor dear. Ours came with it, gave it to other dog, & it lasted a month. Hope your experience is easier! Ours is a pit/boxer too. Best dogs ever!

It's a name that isn't overly cute, or requires an explanation every time. Plus, he's ξ’ OUR BUDDY ξ’ Runner up was Mr. Arthur Fosselman Snacks the First, Esq. (or, Arthur for short, but Arthur got nixed. Buddy it is! ξ

Houston: we have a dog! 8-month old male, boxer / pit / German shepherd mix. Total sweet baby. As of yet unnamed! #puppylove
How fun! Dogs are wonderful to have in your life and he will teach you lots of lessons like ... Life is really about having fun, going for a walk always makes you feel better, and always stay in the present....he's just a bundle of love and joy!

Congrats! Pit bulls are so sweet. We have a mixed one and I love how affectionate she is! Our shepherd mix is smarter but not as cuddly.
