@evey14 well this one was quite scary when you were on top of it, because it was very steep, and longs rip down. Quite a few people got to the edge, then freaked out, running back. I focused on photos which works to distract me from my vertigo. What's your particular fear, or is it diffuse?

Oh dear !! That's scary ! You are so brave to take that risk with your vertigo . Mine is diffuse . Scared of heights , water in general. Can't fight nature . They are eerie . But it's great to watch from a distance .

Private Parrots no. 4 So...the parrots often teamed up and one would groom the other for about 10 minutes. It seemed to be quite an elaborate and predictable ritual, with the groomer working through various parts of the other bird's feathers. The most photogenic part was when the groomee would extend its wing as shown here. The grooming seemed to be hierarchical - when this groomer had finished its work, it hopped down to a lower branch and started all over again with another bird.

Over the next five days I will put up one parrot pic a day, from an Easter stay in a forest setting. There were about 10 birds overall in a couple of trees, and I was really lucky to watch their private lives at close range.

@evey14 btw I know you only occasionally post a pic for which GPS is appropriate, but I found an iOS app recently that easily allows one to add the GPS location to a pic (PhotosInfoPro). I have noticed that editing apps often strip off the GPS metadata so I now use this app after I have finished editing. Then I use the "search" option when uploading in Instagram.
