Clyffside Brewing Company was our 2nd stop on the #cpb_herdingcats tour, and probably the sleeper spot -- in hindsight.
But it had what the underground portions could not provide: well-lit, ornate, high-bay brewing spaces. Located on W. McMicken Ave in Over-the-Rhine #otr it "began in 1933 when Paul Esselborn, who was educated at the Royal Bavarian School of Brewing in Germany, organized the company in the former Mohawk Brewery structures.
