@ekpritchett Strangely, I don't care for tomatoes (one of two foods I really don't like). But even I can tell that tomatoes from the garden are not the same thing you get from the supermarket AT ALL! Those Peruvian yellow peppers (aji amarillo) have aMAAAAZing flavor. Fairly hot, but also super flavorful! Come out to Cali and we'll cook for you with fresh aji amarillo! :) (normally you can only find them frozen here in The States)

@madzmom1 @em_cee Yes, there is the discount, but it's really not that much of a discount. And since we're in Northern California we only make it every few months even when we have the AP, so it makes more sense for us to renew on our next trip. And the payment plan does make it feel somewhat reasonable, but we gotta figure in the lodging costs we incur as well, so we've decided to wait for a while since we just moved into a house that needs a bunch of attention and we're ALSO planning our wedding/honeymoon! :) I'm not sure how long we'll last though :p

APs would NOT be optional :p We have about a 6 1/2 - 7 hour drive, but the APs still make sense for us if we plan on making more than one trip in a calendar year. We are definitely having fun with the wedding plans - although at times it feels like a full time job! It has taken a back seat during the move, but I'd better get back on it!

I'd been wanting to try this one for quite a while but I didn't see how I could possibly eat it in the park and so I wanted to get it at the end of the day and take it home. But I usually dont want to hoof it to the end of Critter Country (the ONLY place they have them) at the end of the day. Anyway, now that I've had it, I work that end of day trip to Pooh Corner into my schedule :p Plus, I found out they'll offer you a knife so you can eat it right away if you want :)

@admiralty One of my favorites for several reasons: 1) I love the Sierras/foothills/Gold Country, and Disney does a great job of emulating that (as they do for everything, really :p), 2) it is possible to get more completely drenched on this one than on Splash Mountain, and it is more unpredictable, 3) I love the relaxing rocking/rolling motion of the raft, and 4) the fact that the 8 passengers sit in a circle combined with the unpredictability of the deluge means that you always bond with your fellow passengers, so you make new friends every time!!!

@ishnite The band pictured in the top is #BillyHillandtheHillbiliies - also known as "The Billys". They Do a hilarious show at Disneyland's Big Thunder Ranch. And I'm a huge fan :) The bass player from The Billys appeared to be subbing in with Five and Dime. Cleans up nice, don't he? ;) Anyway he recognized Juan and me in the audience from a couple of days earlier when I begged for a picture with The Billys after their show. Well, I didn't have to beg - they were very gracious :)

@darthslater So, I was looking up The Billys on the internets - OK, fine, I was cyberstalking them - can you blame me? :p Aaannnnnyways.... I saw that Kirk Wall (Elvis Billy) has a FB page you can like. And when I looked up this guy, he has a FB page also, but not a fan page you can like - just a personal page you can friend him on. And I'm like, "no way I'm gonna do that!" and than I noticed a "1 mutual friend" thing popping up: YOU! Do you actually know him or does he accept friend requests from fans?

I am more of a fan than friend of Anders, I initially met him when he would play with the miner 49ers, a friend of mine and I would talk to him between sets, music and such... He would play us some jazz. Add him, I'm sure he would accept your request, he uses his page to let us know about other shows he does outside of Disney... He is a super nice guy too!!
