Love that book, read it over 14 years ago & it helped me survive my oldest son! I'm so glad I read it & learned that "stubborn" & "determined" are really two sides of the same coin! @mandipidy I'm so glad my now 16 year old son is determined!!

I was reminded the other day just how precious life is. I was in a car accident, and my little Easton was with me. We are both totally fine, but it was a scary situation because it could have been so much worse. Just thankful that God was watching over us and protected us. My car on the other hand, not in good shape. But that seems so small in the grand scheme of things. I'll be cuddling the boys a little more and will be mostly "unplugged" for a few days. Just need to be with my family with no distractions. 💕 thankful #bennettandeaston

We bought Aiden one because he could reach the pedals so we figured we would skip the tricycle... he just pushes it around, lol. But when he is ready we are prepared I guess ;)

@slcook52 no actually they people said that kids should be able to put both feet on the ground with their bikes. And so this is perfect. Plus the seat raises up! 😃

I read your post. As moms we wired to to want our kids to be achievers and we stress the most with our first. I wouldn't worry if he's just not interested right now. Kids develop at their various strengths at different times and that's ok. Growing up is a marathon not a sprint, which means first out if the gate has NOTHING to do with crossing the finish line. I used to be concerned because Andrew didn't like me to read books to him, if I could manage to get him to sit still he would turn the pages before I could finish even one sentence. Now he asks me to read books to him. I can suggest some great cheep or free educational iPad apps he might like.
Girl, I just read your post from today! Thank you so much for sharing this... with such honesty! I have a littleman who just turned 3 last month. He ALSO had a slight speech delay as he was born 2 months premature. He is also a VERY ACTIVE guy. I basically feel like I'm in very similar shoes as yourself... and well, sometimes as a momma it just calms your nerves knowing that you aren't alone in your thoughts, feelings, and concerns regarding your children and motherhood! :)

loved your post this morning. every kid is different and I don't think (at least I hope) there will be much pressure on him in a school setting yet. you never know... he might wake up one day and be totally into it!

My oldest and B are a lot alike! We are even starting the process of speech therapy (beginning screenings) so I love reading on B's progress. Make me very hopeful :)
I just read your post too......I love your honesty about your worries and fears, and these are things all parents struggle with at some point or another, I'm sure! I love that you see Bennett's potential and that you think he's awesome.......every kid needs that kind of support and unconditional love! I'm sure he will be just fine, and I think preschool will be good for him (I think it's great for all 3 year olds).

loved your post today! I struggle with the same things really ... kullen would rather play in the dirt or with cars than 'learn'. I was nervous about him going to 'school' but he did great in that environment! it's hard not to compare your kid to another but just know he'll eventually, in his own time, learn all the things he needs too. :) kullen will be 4 next month and still has no desire to write his name or anything ... it makes me sad sometimes but I know one day hell do it, ya know :)

@momentspassslow first of all, thank you! You are so sweet! So as far as my storage, I use iCloud, so everything backs up to my computer automatically. I try to keep no more than 500 photos on my phone at a time!

Two things: 1⃣ Dr. Pepper is yummy, especially at 9:00 in the morning. 2⃣ I downloaded the #ABeautifulMess app to see what all the hype was about and I'm a little disappointed if I'm being quite honest. The doodles and stuff are cute, but I can see the appeal wearing off really quickly. I dunno I'm torn. What do you all think about it?

Bennett and I go get Easton up around 8:00 every morning and almost every time, Bennett climbs in his crib with him (and i allow it!) and gives him a hug and kiss good morning. It's the sweetest thing! #bennettandeaston

I used to find Andrew in the crib with Nathan all the time. Even when they got bugged, we put them in the same room bc that's where they preferred to be.
