I have waited two years to take this #fromwhereipartake . While @greggboydston @jvtm and I were in Portland, OR two summers ago visiting @emilysahoot and @annacrooks we stumbled upon the Oregon Brewers Festival. That's where I had my first Hell or High Watermelon which is, as you would think, a watermelon flavored beer. Super tasty, super seasonal, and super unavailable anywhere south of Northern California. But lucky me, it's time for the summer seasonals and I now live in Oregon. Oh, tasty summer in a can!

A wildfire bring land new life. The flames heat up the seed pods which cause them to expand and release the seeds. This is why we see a bunch of charred tree remains and among them, tree saplings full of life.

Some campground are prettier than other. This particular one looked like a jungle. I was waiting for King Louie, Mowgli, and Baloo to come around every corner. These clover looking things were huge by the way. Almost as big as my palm.

This is my last day in Mammoth. In a way, I'm sort of sad. But mostly, I'm excited for a new adventure. The people I genuinely liked spending parts of my winter with are moving away for the summer just like we are. All the sucky people are staying. Okay, not all of the people staying are sucky. Lets stay positive. I can't wait to get my puppy!
