I came so close to going to Santorini on this current trip. Decided to stay in Bavaria/northern Germany.

another santorini throwback in 16x9 :: this will be my last #16x9fordays. Call me a square, but I'm more of a 1:1 guy :: On a completely unrelated note, I went to see @davidramirez last night... if you haven't checked out his music, do it now! Probably the best singer/songwriter I've heard in a long time - raw, honest songs about life, heartache, and struggle, laced with a faint glimmer of hope. He's giving away some music on his website - www.davidramirezmusic.com/free. If you can't hear this guy sing lines like, "you remind me that, though not whole, I'm not empty," and not feel something, we probably need to check you for a pulse! I've been mesmerized by his music since hearing him last night, and I just wanted to share some goodness! Hope you enjoy!

feeling small :: I think it's easy to feel small in such a big world. We all have places we'd love to see or people we'd love to meet across the miles, but life doesn't always allow it. What I've loved about Instagram is that somehow this community has made the world seem a little less elusive. I've been able to see places through others' eyes that I've only dreamed of visiting. And even better⦠I've met some incredible people along the way⦠creative, kind, and generous people who continually inspire and encourage me in my own creativity. I know I'm a little late to this whole #instagrammeanstome thing, but thank you @instagram for making this possible, and congrats on making 100,000,000 people feel a little less small in such a big world. :)

@piccolotakesall Thanks for asking, Vicki. I'm actually using the same apps I typically use... primarily Snapseed, Afterglow, VSCO cam, and Blender. I'm just messing around with contrasts, fades, and drama a little more than usual.
