Finished the #crochet #dicebag. When the bag is closed it looks like a flower from the top. I really enjoyed creating this, but I had no pattern so I'm crossing my fingers I can repeat it...

Before I read the caption I thought this was a pillow, they would look excellent sewn onto a pillow cover in random order, like a bunch of snowflakes.. They look perfect, great work 👏👏👏

My great aunt would make these. They are very delicate and beautiful. She made doilies, large table runners and table cloths. She starched them all.

I didn't wait for the lips to dry before I messed with them, now they are beyond repair so I'm going to sand them down and start over. But I made this cute dress without a pattern. :)

You can wipe the paint off with surgical alcohol and a magic sponge. No need to sand.
@champignons thanks for the pro tip :) I used chalk and glossy modgepodge.. Now that its sanded I suppose I should go grab some paint to make things easier

So I'm just as bad at applying makeup to dolls as I am people. Once it dries maybe I can sand off the mistakes. Just like I do on people.

Actually I think you can get alcohol wipes for people make up but they are too greasy ... That hand gel stuff works brilliantly. Sadly I found that out by accident

Yes, champignons on there too. Mind you they are all keen on sanding off varnishes, and its really not healthy, when you can remove it easily with alcohol... But lots of good customising tips x

Experimenting with rerooting. I didn't like the orange mohair because it was to short and this reroot was too hard on her scalp so it's too stretched out to glue back on. Ordered more scalps today.

For one of my dolls I crocheted a wig cap and then crocheted on the yarn hair. Then I attach the wig with adhesive velcro. It works well and is removable. Also, i love this picture! 😍😊
