I have been debating with myself about which way is better to follow on my photostream. Is it better to have a more natural edit or a more processed one? I think I like the right side better than the left, but I don't know if you can see that this right side quality of the image had a severe downgrade. So I don't know if I'm ready to sacrifice some quality over a more processed look. Would you guys help me decide? What do you think?

Well, I do Instagram in Droid style (lol)so, I use often snapseed, and the built-in editor that came with the phone which is really good, to adjust the color curves and other settings, and then or I post it or I go to an app called MagicHour, I think it's available for iOS too, I like because I can customize its filters, but as you can see on the right shot, it saves it in a low quality picture.

Sorry, just saw this one now! I think less processed is always best but sometimes it depends on the image :) I edit mostly to bring out the best in the image but am guilty of over processing quite often! I think if the image can stand on it's own, less is always better :)
Thank you very much for your greatly appreciated feedback, I guess I think the same way too, and sometimes you have to be faithful to your feelings towards the picture and do the edit like you feel it will be good.

I prefer the left side for this shot. That is today though and tomorrow I could choose the right. Loosing quality in your editor does suck and I would look for an alternative. I obviously don't mind heavily processed images. I think the individual photo and mood should dictate your moves. I see your motivation to unify your feed, but that might not be so important. Look at mine. It is all over the place. Do what makes you happy, and others will notice.

I'm always in a Jerusalem mood, but since yesterday, which was the Jerusalem day it's been more intense. This is one of my tip favorite places in Israel and maybe the most special one.

Good news is finally got a incredible new phone, by which I'm still amazed and here is a pic from it and from my favorite beach of the state. Pics from it will be often posted now that I have a decent phone. My previous phone was awful and not allowed to run Instagram officially, but thanks to Android I could download its file and install it anyways. It would take forever to edit and to view filters on the pic. Not anymore.
And, my great cousin from the US, @walmeida, was here these last days, enjoying my brief vacation with me, making it more special. She went back yesterday and I am missing her.

I'm back! So many things happen while I was away from Instagram and those things added to make me not so able to post.
First, my grandpa died about 2 months ago and that is why I'm posting this picture, because even though we miss him so much, I know he's up there in Heaven, not because he was a good person, but because he had a covenant with the Lord through the blood of Yeshua. Sometimes it's impossible not to feel what we Portuguese speakers know as saudades specially when everything in the house reminds you of him, but the Lord's love can comfort us more than we imagine, filling up everything.
Second, I just had the worst semester of my life on medical school.
Adding those 2 at the same time is not great combination, specially when you don't have much time to recover from the loss and mourning because of University duties.
But now everything is alright and I know that the Lord is faithful to the covenant I have with him and is taking care of everything and that His joy is my strength.
And I'll explain more later.

I know it's the cliched and tacky time of New Years messages, but what I want to say is that we need to just remember how blessed we were on this year, even if it was a bad year I'm sure out had it's good moments.
This was the best year, after all it was the year I finally set foot in the awesomely amazing land of Yisrael, where all these last pics were taken.

The extra virgin oil extracted from the olives didn't need any more weight attached to the press, except the weight of the proper bags of olives. This purest oil was only destined to be used on the Temple. .
May our lives grant to the Lord the purest oil, that will spread His anointing and His glory and to be used in the most honorable way, being so healed and so workable that we won't need more weight to yield the oil.
