Late dinner tonight, had the "E-San Classic Set" at Siam Nara with papaya salad (som tum), sticky rice (kao nieu), dipping sauce(nam prik) and marinated rib eye steak (weeping tiger). Pretty good! ππ΄

I've followed (or stalked? lolπ) @dusttrace for over a year and have always been captivated by the delicious food on her IG feed. Well she made that possible by sending me authentic Malaysian sauces to prepare curry mee, Assam laksa and bakuteh! Haven't been back to Coachella in 7 years, now I know remember why--I'm getting to old to stand around all day and night! π Nevertheless, enjoyed every minute of seeing my fave bands Blur and The Stone Roses back to back. Surreal and amazing. Yesterday's snack at Coachella: Taiwanese fried chicken bao from NYC based Baohaus.

Pre-Coachella meal at Portillos, a Chicago institution in SoCal. Hubs got his fave guilty pleasure --Italian beef sandwich, and fries with cheese sauce.I got the very chunky garden salad with a handful of cheddar cubes for good measure, lol. π
