Visited #Gary recently and thought about Mr Elbert Henry who was the chairman when Gary Works, and essentially Gary, were founded. His USS isn't the world biggest steel manufacturer anymore, it's actually # 13 I believe. And his city was one of the fastest growing in the world. Now... well, you know. β’β’ Which brings me to wonder. β’β’ At what would *he be more disappointed; the city falling into complete decay? Makes me think of Walking Dead when they're first leaving the city behind
@mokiandme never really started watching that show. Maybe I should now that it's over. Is it long?
Yes, watch Walking Dead!! One of my favorite shows (though it can be annoying at times). There's three seasons out right now. The first season was 6 episodes and I think 2 and 3 have 14ish episodes each.
Well each ep is about 45mins w/out ads. It's up to season 3, I believe. We get everything here way behind the US (hence Australia being one of the biggest illegal downloaders of Game of Thrones ... which is available on pay tv, but if you only want to watch that, you're looking at at least $60 month to subscribe to a bunch of other channels you don't want *sigh*). I've been given through friend of a friend copies of all seasons, but only part way thru season 2, due to time. It's not top quality drama (and not the wonderful production value of something like Mad men, GoT or The Tudors, etc.) But the character array, while predictable, it's at least entertaining ... plenty to love and hate. & it's about Zombies :-P
